When you visit the website

The website and its hosting service process technical request information, such as your IP address, browser details, requested page and the time of the request. This is needed to deliver the website, diagnose problems and protect it against misuse. The basis is our legitimate interest in operating a reliable, secure website.

The main developer pages do not add optional analytics or advertising measurement. The DriveNudge landing page offers a separate choice for optional Google Ads measurement. More detail is available in its privacy and cookie notice.

When you contact us

If you email us, we receive your email address, the contents of your message and any information or attachments you choose to send. We use these to answer your request and handle support. This may be necessary to take steps at your request or provide support, or based on the legitimate interest in responding to correspondence.

Send only the information needed for your question. Do not send passwords, payment details, private invitation links or complete app backups.

Providers and external links

This website uses WordPress. NL Stijl provides website hosting and email services. Service providers may process data needed to provide those services on our behalf. Data may also be disclosed where required by law.

Links to the App Store, Apple Support and other external websites open services operated by those providers. Their privacy notices apply when you use them. App downloads and purchases are handled through Apple, not a checkout on this website.

How long information is kept

We keep correspondence for as long as needed to handle the question and any follow-up. Technical data is kept only as long as needed to operate the website, resolve problems or investigate misuse. Specific information may need to be kept longer to meet a legal obligation or handle a dispute. Recovery backups may temporarily retain information after it is removed from active systems.

Your rights

Depending on the processing, you can request access to, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your personal data. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests and withdraw consent where consent is the basis. Contact support@merlingmeijer.com to make a request.

We normally respond within one month. If a lawful extension is necessary, we will tell you within that month. We ask only for information needed to handle your request and, where necessary, verify your identity.

You can lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority or the competent privacy regulator in your country.
